The Arabic-medium Qasas 3 sessions, however, were one of the most beneficial, stimulating, and challenging phases of study I’ve encountered so far in the program. The entire session was conducted in Arabic – regular conversations, Q/A, and any required explanations.

Our respected teacher Shaykh Shams Ad-Duha Muhammad used to converse with us in Arabic, ask questions in Arabic, and expect responses in Arabic. He took us out of our comfort zones and “pushed” us to use Arabic as the primary medium of communication. As a result of these sessions, I gradually became better and better at conversing in Arabic (still a long way to go before full fluency), constructing Arabic sentences on the fly, writing in Arabic in accordance with Sarf/Nahw rules, and understanding spoken Arabic.

  Our 2-Year program is much more appreciated by those that have made multiple attempts at learning the language. Furthermore, we do not spend any time talking about the very basics, nor do we teach Tajweed in the 2-Year program. • Will PalTalk work properly with a Mac?
  
  PalTalk has a browser based version which doesn’t involve any software. This can be used by Mac users and works just as well.
  
• Is Paltalk completely free to use?
  The basic PalTalk service (all that is required for our purposes) is free for users residing in North America and most Western countries, as they sell advertising directed at users, allowing them to keep the service free. In turn, since we have paid a fee to secure the password protected room, this advertising then disappears. Hence, there is no need for the majority of our students to upgrade their accounts.

  However, since they are unable to sell advertising directed at users based in Middle Eastern and most Asian countries, they require such users to pay for the service themselves by upgrading their accounts to a “blue nick” which is the next level up. Otherwise, they will not be able to access any of the rooms. The cost for this, however, is minimal: it does not exceed $40 for an entire year. If you run into any trouble upgrading your account with PalTalk, please contact us.
  

Payment Related

• Do you offer any family discount?
  Yes. You can invite a second family member into the course whereby both of you will receive $350 off your second semester tuition costs for the premium version of the program. (Total savings $700!). Essentially each member will pay $997 instead of the normal $797 + $500. This covers the entire 1st year of the program, live classes included.
  
• Will the costs associated to the program always remain this low?
  No. As the program continues to improve in content delivery and features, we will be raising the costs. Though we have only done this once in the last 8 years, we reserve the right to do this at any time without notice. Current students will be given advance notice and an opportunity to prepay at current rates.
  
• Can I pay in installments?
  The payment terms are as follows: per semester for the regular course (6 months prepayment required), and per year in the case of the self-paced option. Having said that, we do occasionally allow an installment plan (3 payments of $176 for self-paced and 3 payments of $297 for the regular course) in situations where an interested student finds it difficult to pay the entire amount upfront.

  We want you to become an overwhelming success in your Arabic studies and frankly the more skin you have in the game the more benefit you will tend to receive from the collective resources and expert instruction we have to offer you. This is why we strongly encourage prepayment until the end of the 1st year. This is also the precise reason why we do not allow “pay-as-you-go” students into our program.

• I do not have a Paypal account. How do I submit payment?
  For users residing in most western countries, payment can be submitted using your credit card without the need for a Paypal account. The option to do this is on the final screen. Continue proceeding even if you do not have a Paypal account.
• I live in a country for which Paypal does not act as a credit card processor. Do you have any alternate method?
  Yes. Please contact us, and we will provide you with a payment link which does not involve Paypal.
  
• Can I pay by cheque or money order?
  Yes. That is also possible. Please contact us for further details.
  
• Once I've submitted payment, how long will it take before I receive access to the material?
  Access will be granted immediately. You will receive both an email with instructions on how to access the live classes and a private message at the forums with links to download the material.
• Will I be automatically re-billed at the end of the first semester?
  No. You will simply receive a notice to resubmit payment through our forum software. At that point, you should renew the subscription. Otherwise, it will expire and you will loose access to the password protected areas of our message board.
